Signing up is easy, you can sign up directly through our website by clicking "Sign Up", located at the top right of your screen and follow the instructions to create an account.

Note: For verification purposes you must create the account under your legal name and address listed on your IDs. If you are using this for business purposes, you can add your business name to your account at signup. Upon signup, you will be required to submit a notarized USPS Form 1583, along with 2 acceptable IDs. Once that has been received and approved by your mail center, you’ll have full access to your account and the mail that arrives to your new virtual mailing address.  

Step 1. Choose a Location and Plan.

Choose a physical address from 3,500+ digital mailbox locations across the U.S. and abroad, this address will be where you will receive your mail. Then select the plan that is best for you, depending on how much mail you expect to receive.

Step 2. Checkout.

Provide your contact information and select a payment method via a credit card or PayPal account.

Step 3. Upload Form 1583.

After signing up, you will be assigned a personal mailbox number and a USPS Form 1583 that authorizes your digital mailbox location to receive mail on your behalf. You will need two forms of acceptable IDs and you can then choose to notarize online or in person at your mail center location. 

If you will visiting your mail center to notarize in person, please call ahead to be sure that they offer on site notary. iPostal1 makes this process easy.

Step 4. Redirect Your Mail after your account is fully approved.

To begin receiving mail at your new address, file a Temporary Change of Address form with the USPS and/or notify senders directly, once your account is approved.

With your new virtual mailing address, you will be able to:

• View and manage your mail from anywhere 24/7. See your mail as soon as it is received. Use our free app or any computer to view an image of the outside of each mail item you receive. With a click or tap, tell your mail center what you want to do with each item: forward, scan, schedule a pickup, discard, or shred.

• Receive Mail & Packages from Any Carrier. Because every iPostal digital mailbox address is a real street address, not a standard postal box, you can receive mail and packages not only from the USPS, but also from FedEx, UPS and other carriers.
• Add Locations with Just a Click. It's fast and easy to add additional address locations for business or personal use. Manage mail for all locations from one login.  

To open a virtual iPostal1 mailbox, you will be required to provide the following:

• Valid payment method: We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover and PayPal. 
• USPS Form 1583: A completed form 1583 that is notarized online or completed at your mail center.
• Identification: 2 acceptable IDs from the list; 1 photo ID and 1 address ID (must match the name used to sign up).
• Address: A current address that matches your photo ID to complete USPS Form 1583.
• To notarize online:  A mobile phone or computer with strong internet connection and access to video and microphone.

Note: If you don't have a U.S. address you must still file the USPS form 1583. You'll be required to notarize the Form 1583 using our online notary service for $25.

iPostal1 offers Virtual Mailing Address plans for personal use only starting at $9.99/month, and Virtual Business Address plans to receive mail under a business name as well as for personal use, starting at $14.99/month.

• Each plan has four options, depending on how much mail you expect to receive each month.
• We offer Virtual Office plans that may be used with a business name and for personal use, and come with phone forwarding and fax, starting at $39.99/month.
• Get two months free on any plan when you select a Yearly plan.
• You may change your monthly plan at any time, effective the next billing period.  

Note: Yearly plans can be upgraded to another yearly plan that allows for more mail items per month. However, you may not change from a yearly plan to a monthly plan until the yearly billing period ends.

Most of our locations are Standard addresses that start at $9.99/month. However, addresses in prestigious buildings or in locations where costs and demand are higher, may cost more according to the address type: Select +$10; Premium +$20; Prestige +$30.

You can add your prefered payment method when creating  the account. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. You can also select to use PayPal. 

Note: Renewal is automatic, whether you have a monthly or a yearly plan. You can stop automatic renewal by cancelling your subscription any time before the next billing date. 

You can add up to 6 recipients to a personal account or up to 5 additional recipients and 1 business name to a business account. 

To add your spouse at the same time as the primary recipient during the signup process, use the Form Assistant, located in your digital mailbox account, to guide you through completing the form. 

• After completing the steps, you’ll receive two separate Forms to notarize and submit, along with copies of two forms of ID for each individual.
• Adult children (age 18 and older) must provide their own signed and notarized Form 1583 and 2 forms of ID. Spouses also require their own form per new regulations.

Note: To add or remove additional recipients after your account is approved, please contact customer support directly. 

You can add your business name directly to your account through step 3 of the USPS 1583 form assistant located once you log into your account. Please be sure that you selected a business plan and not a personal account. This will then be reflected in your account, as well as on line 9 of the 1583 form. Once your account is approved, we will be able to start receiving mail under your business name. 

Note: 

• According to the USPS requirements, you can only have one business name per business account. 
• If you have a second business, you can easily create a second account by clicking on "Add a Location" from your first digital mailbox account. You can even add a second mailbox at the same address. 

A change of address is recommended when you’d like your mail to be redirected to your new iPostal1 address. After your account is fully approved, we recommend completing the temporary change of address in person at a Post Office near you. We have found that the online change of address system, unfortunately, doesn't always recognize/accept the addresses because of the added suite number, so please complete this in person to avoid any issues or delays. 

Upon signup, we assign you a unique suite number to go along with the address you selected - this is to set you apart from the other customers signing up at the same location. For this reason, it is an important part of the address and is required to be listed on any incoming mail.

Note: 

• We recommend updating your address, after your account is fully approved by your mail center.
• We do not recommend filing a Permanent Change of Address form with the USPS.
• A Temporary Change of Address is good for 6 months and may be renewed for an additional 6 months. 

If you choose to close your account within the first 30 days of opening, you may receive a full refund of the mailbox rental fee if you did not use your account to receive mail or for any other purpose. Please contact iPostal1 to see if you qualify and to request a refund.

Note: If you filed a Temporary Change of Address form with your Post Office, you can easily cancel the Temp address change, and file a new one. However, if you filed a Permanent Change of Address, you will need to inform your senders individually that your address has changed.

To add a new iPostal1 location or a new mailbox account, you will need to have a valid payment method on file and you will need to submit a new form 1583 for each mailbox and location. 

How to add new mailbox:

Step 1. Sign into your account, click on the "Add New Mailbox" Button in the left toolbar.

Step 2.  Select the State that you would like your new mailbox account.

Step 3. Choose the City of your new store location.

Step 4. Select the Address that you prefer. Each location offers the following plan options: Virtual Mailing Address, Virtual Business Address, and Virtual Office.

Step 5. Review the locations details and pricing. Plan pricing for each location will be displayed at the bottom of your screen and may be different at each address.

Step 6. Choose the plan that's right for you.

Step 7. Click "Add Location" and your new mailbox will be purchased with the primary credit card on file.

Step 8. Click on: "Go To My Mailbox" to receive an email confirmation to fill out the new USPS form 1583, click: "Start".

Step 9. You will now be able to toggle between your locations by clicking on the "Select Locations" button in the left toolbar.

The USPS Form 1583 is a 'Permission Slip' that you sign to allow your mail to be processed by a third party address. Most people who sign up are new to the concept. We are happy to explain why you need one for your online mailbox.

• Providing your IDs, notary and signature verify that you are the one who authorizes mail to come to your account.

• We provide you with a pre-filled form 1583 inside of your account and easy access to an online notary. Your form 1583 is automatically uploaded to your account after the online notary session is completed.
• You can notarize directly at your mail center, if your location provides this service. Your location will upload to your account. Please call ahead and be sure to have your required documents available when visiting your mail center.
• We do not accept local notaries, such as from a banks. Forms cannot be notarized at the post office.
• Forms cannot not be uploaded or submitted via email or fax.

Your mailbox location is classified by USPS as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) and reports to the local Post Office. According to USPS law, in order for your Address Location to legally process mail on your behalf, the Form 1583 is required to be on file in the address location that you selected. They also will be submitting a copy to the local Post Office. 

Form 1583 must be properly signed by the mailbox renter and notarized using our online notary partner, Proof.com, or can be signed at your mail center. Only after the CMRA has a properly reviewed the Form 1583 with two valid forms of ID. You will be able to begin receiving mail and request tasks for your mail, after your account is fully approved. Prior to this time, your mail and packages are subject to be returned to sender in accordance with USPS guidelines.

Once your form 1583 is approved, your mail can start the journey to your iPostal1 Mailbox.

Form 1583 does:

• Provide permission for mail to be received on behalf of the mailbox renter
• Verify the identity of the mailbox renter
• Require two acceptable IDs
• Require a notary or agent signature 

Form 1583 does not 

• Reroute mail from your home or business (This CAN be done through a separate 'Change of Address' Form at your local Post Office)
• Share/publicize your new address with the world - it is up to you to share your address with the people who send you

To begin the form 1583 process, please sign into your account via a desktop computer. Follow the steps below to proceed. Once all of the information is filled out, your form 1583 will appear in your account. You can then choose to notarize online via proof.com or you can visit your mail center to have your documents notarized, if in person notary service is available at your mail center. Local notaries such as banks, are not allowed. Document submission via email or upload, is not allowed.

• Click "Learn More", located on the yellow banner at the top of your account. 
• Click "Edit Form 1583 Information".

Step 1. Mail Recipients for this Account:

Enter the legal name of the primary mail recipient. The name should match the name that appears on your government issued ID.

If this is a business account that will receive mail for a company, please select "Yes". You will be asked to enter your business information when you reach Step 3.

If this is not a business account and you would like to add additional recipients, please select "Yes".

Enter the full legal name and last name of your spouse/significant other. You may also enter the full legal names (first and last required) of up to three minor children.

Note:

• If a spouse is added on this step, both the primary recipient and their spouse will need to generate a Form 1583, provide ID's, and notarize online or at your mail center.
• If you wish to add an additional mail recipient that is not a spouse/significant other or minor child, you will need to have that additional recipient fill out and notarize their own Form 1583.
•  You can request an joint online notary session for a discount, by contacting iPostal1 customer support.

Step 2. Your Address - As listed on your government-issued ID:

Enter your home address as it appears on your Address ID document. 

You will also be asked whether you'd like to hide your email address on the form, if you have a U.S. Social Security Number, and if you will be shipping items outside of the U.S.

Step 3 - Your Business Information:

Select whether this is a registered business.

Then, enter the requested business information below.

Step 4 - Mail Recipient Identification Documents:

Select the type of photo ID that you will be providing your mail center. The Photo ID should be a valid, government-issued photo ID from the list of approved ID's.

Then, select the type of address ID that you will be providing your mail center. Your address IDs must verify the home address you listed in Step 2 and be on the list of approved ID's.

Step 5 - Review:

Please verify that all the information listed on this page is correct.

Step 6 - Notarize 1583

Option 1 - Online Notary: Proof.com, our online notary partner, is standing by for immediate processing. This option requires a webcam or smartphone. The cost for using proof.com is $25. Your notarized form and ID's will be automatically uploaded to your account with the online notary option. Please click on Continue with Online Notary to proceed.

Option 2 - Mail Center Location: Some of our mail centers offer Notary services in house. If your location offers this service, you can notarize your form 1583 in person. If not, then you will have to notarize your 1583 through our online notary partner, Proof.com.

Note: If you are signing up from an International address and/or if you would like to ship items outside of the U.S., you are required to notarize your USPS form 1583 using the online notary, proof.com.

Two forms of identification are required, a Primary Photo ID and a Secondary Proof of Address ID. Your 2 IDs are required to be submitted along with your form 1583. You can notarizing online, using proof.com or you can visit your mail center location, if notary service is provided. Please call ahead to see if notary service is provided. 

Acceptable Photo IDs:

• Valid state-issued driver‘s license
• Non-driver’s identification card
• U.S. Armed Forces card, Uniformed Service ID card
• U.S. permanent resident or other identification issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
• U.S. certificate of citizenship or naturalization
• Identification card issued by a federally or state-recognized tribal nation (tribal identification card)
• U.S. passport, U.S. passport card
• Foreign passport
• Corporate identification card of a corporation located and organized in good standing in the U.S., university identification card, 
• Matricula Consular card (Mexico), 
• NEXUS card (Canada)
  

Acceptable Proof of Address Documents:

• Current lease
  
• Mortgage or deed of trust
• Voter or vehicle registration card
• Home or vehicle insurance policy
• Form I-94 Arrival and Departure record

Unacceptable IDs:

• Social Security cards
• Credit cards
• Utility bills
• Birth certificates

Note: 

• The Primary ID must have a clear photograph of the mail recipient. 
• International customers must use their passport as their photo ID. 
• We accept the international equivalent of the Secondary IDs listed.

If you selected a business plan and entered a business name in step 3 when you signed up for your mailbox, our system will automatically place your business name in box 7 on the USPS form 1583. Box 7 is the correct box for your business name. 

For business account use, you may add a total of 1 business name and 5 personal names associated with one account. 

Note: Each additional business name or DBA requires its own separate account.

USPS requires every mailbox account with a business name, to have a personal name attached to the account for verification purposes. Even if all of your mail will only be addressed to the business name alone, your personal name, signature and IDs need to be on file. 

The business name will be listed in box 7. Mail can arrive addressed to the business name without your personal name.

Note:We will not share your personal information with anyone. USPS requires that information to be on file, in order for us to legally receive mail for your account.

You can add up to 5 additional names with a personal mailbox for a total of 6 recipients or 5 personal names and 1 business name for a business account. Each additional recipient will require their own notarized Form 1583 and will need to submit 2 valid forms of ID. 

• Please make sure to list a spouse and any minor children who are being added to your account in step 1 or box 12 of Form 1583.
• Since minors are not of age and do not have IDs, there are not required to file their own 1583.  Some mail centers may ask for proof that a recipient is a minor.
  
• Adult children (age 18 and older) must provide their own signed and notarized Form 1583 and 2 forms of ID. Spouses also require their own form per new regulations.

To add or edit additional mail recipients to your account in step 1 of the sign up assistant:

Step 1. Navigate to step 1 and scroll towards the middle. 

Step 2. Click "Yes" under "Would you like to add additional mail recipient(s) to your account", then click "Next".

Each location and mailbox will require a seperate form 1583. You must file a new 1583 form for each mailbox location you open. If you use our convenient online notary service, the first notarization costs $25, but other notarizations completed in the same session cost just $5.00. 

Note: Upon completing the online notary, your Form 1583 and ID’s will be uploaded directly to all of your addresses, which a great time saver.

You will receive an email from your Mail Center notifying you that your USPS Form 1583 has been approved. 

You can verify the approval status of your account by logging into your account and checking under 'Mailbox Settings' located on the left toolbar. There, you can see if your mailbox address is active and approved.

Additionally, the yellow box inside your account, containing Form 1583 Instructions, will disappear from your screen.

If you are asked to enter a social security number when notarizing online, and you do not have a Social Security number, it is likely because the incorrect option was selected on Step 2 in the Form 1583 Assistant.

To fix this issue:

Step 1. Click on the Notification bell in the upper right corner of your mailbox to go back into the Form 1583 Assistant.

Step 2. Click back to Step 2.

Step 3. Once you are back on step 2, please change the answer to question 3. from "YES" to "NO".

Step 4. Click through the assistant and on Step 6, request a NEW online notary session.

Step 5. You will receive a NEW email from the online notary.  

Step 6. Wait for the email with Subject: iPostal1 - Online Notary [ACTION REQUIRED]

Note: Please be sure you click the link on the new email sent, to access the online notary. If you click the old email, you will still be prompted to enter a Social Security number.

You can make changes to the information entered in your 1583 form, through the 1583 Assistant which is located in your account.

To edit your form 1583:

Step 1. Click on the notification bell in the top right corner of your account. 

Step 2. Select click here (second option in the image below) on your 1583 Assistant that will bring you back to make changes.

Step 3. Make edits as needed.

Step 4. Select an option on Step 6 to notarize your updated form.

Note: If you do not see these options, please contact customer support directly.

The USPS form 1583 does not change your address, it simply gives your mail center permission to handle mail that arrives in your name. Once your account is fully approved by your mail center, you can update your contact and file a change of address. 

• You will be required to fill out a separate temporary change of address form with USPS to change your address so that mail is forwarded. 
• We recommend filling out a temporary change of Address, as any permanent change of address cannot be reverted in the future. 

Your business address should be the actual place you conduct your business at. If you do not have a business address, you can use your home address in this section of the form 1583.  

The USPS requires your current address to be listed on the Form 1583. You will also be required to provide 2 acceptable IDs. A current photo ID and a proof of address ID, that matches your current address entered when signing up.  

You can and must file a USPS form 1583 when signing up for a virtual mailbox, even if you don't have a U.S. address. All international customers are required to submit a notarized Form 1583 using the online notary service, proof.com.

If you use our online notary service, your documents are automatically uploaded and submitted, including your Form 1583 and IDs. Our online notary is secure and reliable, ensuring that your Form 1583 can be verified. 

If you live in the U.S. and have U.S documents, many mail centers will allow you to bring your IDs and Form 1583 to sign in their presence, in which case your mail center will upload your required documents for approval. We recommend that you contact your mail center prior to arriving to ensure this service is offered. 

If you have already notarized a document using a local notary, it will not be accepted.

Note: 

• Uploading documents from your account, email or fax submission is not allowed.
• If you need to add, edit or delete documents, please contact customer support and an agent will be able to assist.
• You must visit the location you signed up for, other locations will not be able to notarize your documents. Local notaries, such as banks or the post office are not allowed.
• If you are an international customers or will be shipping internationally, you will be required to notarize online, using proof.com.

To notarize online with the notary service proof.com with iPostal1 is:

• $25.00 for one notarization, whether you reside in the U.S. or in another country. 

If you have signed up for more than one iPostal1 address, the cost for additional notarizations completed during the same online session is as follows:

• $5.00 each after your first notarization, accounts 2 through 11.
• No charge for notarization 12 and beyond accounts.

Note: Customers living outside of the U.S. who sign up for a U.S. mailing address and customers that are shipping internationally, are required to use our online notary service.

Your pre-filled 1583 will be available for online notarization after completing the 1583 assistant on your account. You will be able to find the form when you get to the end of the assistant. You will be able to request an online notary link which will send your pre-filled 1583 to Proof.com on your behalf. 

You can choose to have your form 1583 notarized at your mail center, if the service is available (local notaries are not accepted). If you are planning on visiting your mail center location, please call ahead to see if in person notary service is provided. 

Note:

• We do not accept local notaries, such as banks or any other notary public. 
• We do not accept email or fax submissions. Documents cannot be uploaded in your account.

• If you are visiting your mail center location in person, you can print the form 1583 and sign at your location. Your mail center will usually upload the 2 IDs and completed form 1583 for approval.
• If you are an international customer, with international documents or if you will be shipping mail internationally, you will be required to notarize via the online notary proof.com. 

The USPS requires notarization of Form 1583 to prevent identity fraud, protecting you and the mail center. Many mail centers allow you to provide your IDs and sign the form in person in their presence, where the staff can review your IDs and verify your identity. Some mail centers charge for this service, so please check with them about details. To notarize your form without going to your mail center, you will be required to use our online notary service for $25. All customers living outside of the U.S. or are shipping outside of the U.S, are required to use our online notary service.  

Note: 

• You cannot fill out your Form 1583 at the Post Office. 
• Local notaries, such as banks are not acceptable. 

Online Notary is required: 

• If you live outside of the U.S.
• If you have international documents. 
• If you are shipping to an international location.
• If you have U.S. documents but cannot visit your mail center in person to provide your IDs and sign the form 1583.
• If your mail center does not allow you to sign the form in person.

Online Notary is not required:

• If you visit your mail center location, provide your acceptable U.S. IDs and sign the form 1583 in person. 

If you would like to make changes to your Form 1583 after requesting online notarization, simply log in and click "Learn More" in the yellow information bar at the top of your account. After this is selected, a pop up will appear with the option "Cancel Notarization Request". 

• Once the notarization request is canceled, you can access the 1583 Assistant again and make any necessary changes. 
• When you reach the end of the guide, you can request a new notarization link or print your Form 1583 if needed.

For security purposes, notarization must be done by the individual who is providing their documents. You must notarize for yourself and additional recipients must notarize for themselves via proof.com's video notary session. This ensures that no one is using your information or IDs to open an account with iPostal1.

Please contact iPostal1 directly via email, chat, or phone and we can provide you with a blank form 1583 and separate notary link for your additional recipient to complete. 

Alternatively, if you and your additional recipient have already filled out the form but both still need to notarize, we can provide you with a link that that includes both pre-filled forms for one notary session.

All Form 1583 submissions are reviewed to ensure compliance with USPS requirements. Once all required documents are submitted correctly, our 1583 team will review and pre-approve them. After pre-approval, your documents will be forwarded to your designated mail center for final approval.

Please allow 1–3 business days for the complete processing of your Form 1583.

If you have not received a response or are experiencing a delay:

• Additional documentation may be needed, please check your email. You will be notified via email if additional documents are missing or required. If you may need an update or confirmation of your account status, please contact customer support. 
• If you are experiencing a delay during the notary process and verification stages, please contact iPostal1 support for any questions or concerns. 

When you set up and pay for your address, subscription charges begin—as the address is immediately available for your online business subscriptions and website needs. Therefore, your new account renews monthly unless you cancel. 

Some customers choose not to complete Form 1583 as part of our flexible service, indicating their preference not to receive physical mail. The address primarily boosts their online presence and streamlines subscription services. However, your mail center still holds this address for you, even without the notarized Form 1583 and IDs.  

Note: Accounts that do not complete Form 1583 and submit their IDs cannot receive mail at their location until they are approved. Any mail received prior to documentation approval is returned to sender.

You can view your account document status when logged in to your account. Once you log in, you will see a yellow banner across the top. You can also view your account status under "Mailbox Settings". 

To check on the status of your required documents:

• Click on "Mailbox Settings".
• Locate the "General Settings" box.
• Scroll down to view "Document Status". 

If you're still receiving emails to complete your online notary session and you have already notarized your form, it is likely that more than one notary session was requested multiple times.

• Please contact us through chat or email by clicking this link so we can resolve this for you.

If you have multiple addresses with iPostal1, you can create a single notary session that will allow you to notarize all 1583 documents in one meeting.

The price applies to multiple forms in the same session:

• First form 1583: $25 
• Additional forms: $5 each

Step 1: Download all Form 1583s from each of your addresses.

Step 2: Visit our landing page by clicking HERE and click "Start the Process".

Step 3: Select the session type (depending on if you have a US social security number or not).

Step 4: Upload all 1583 Forms on the following page and proceed through the session.

Step 5: After notarizing, you should download the files and then re-upload each form into the correct. iPostal1 address, along with copies of both IDs used.

The online notary is required when you do not have a Social Security Number or you selected to ship mail internationally. All other customer can that have U.S. documents and are not shipping internationally, can notarize at your mail center location. 

• Please call your mail center ahead of time, to see if the service is provided at your location.

• You can update these selections on step 2 of the Form 1583 assistant available on your account.

To make the changes:

Step 1. Click on the notification bell in the top right corner of your account. 

 Step 2. Click through Step 2 to ensure your answers match the below(if applicable) - in order to be provided with the option to notarize at your mail center directly.

Step 3. Step 6 will show your updated options for notarization.

If you requested the online notary option, but did not receive an email with instructions, please follow the steps below.

Step 1. Check your Spam folder.

Step 2. In the 1583 Assistant, click on "Resend Notarization Request".

Step 3.  Please check your email's inbox for an email containing the following:

Sender: noreply@proof.com
Subject: iPostal1 - Online Notary [ACTION REQUIRED]

In order to have your notarized 1583 form automatically added to your account is by following these steps:

• You requested an online notary session through the 1583 Assistant.
• You received the automated email with a link to proof.com.
• You clicked on the link and proceeded through the notary process.

Note: If you followed this process and your form is not in your account, please contact a customer service agent to assist.

Submitting your required documents and completing the online notary session is the first step but does not confirm that your account is approved. 

Once these completed documents are submitted, they are reviewed by our team and sent to your mail center location for final approval. 

You can verify the approval status of your account in the following ways:
1. Email Notification: You should have received an email from your Mail Center notifying you that your USPS Form 1583 has been approved.

2. Account Dashboard: The yellow box inside your account, containing Form 1583 instructions, will disappear from your screen once your account is approved.

3. Mailbox Settings: You can log into your account, click on "Mailbox Settings" located on the left toolbar, and check "General Settings" to see if your mailbox address is active and approved.
If you have followed these steps and still have doubts about your account approval, I recommend reaching out to customer support for further assistance. 

If you have already notarized a document using a local notary, it will not be accepted for upload. You can choose to notarize your documents online using proof.com or you can notarize in person at your mail center, if the service is provided at your address.

Your documents are automatically uploaded and submitted, including your Form 1583 and IDs. 

If you live in the U.S. and have U.S documents, many mail centers will allow you to bring your IDs and Form 1583 to sign in their presence, in which case your mail center will upload your required documents for approval. We recommend that you contact your mail center prior to arriving to ensure this service is offered. 

Note: 

• Uploading documents from your account, email or fax submission is not allowed.
• If you need to add, edit or delete documents, please contact customer support and an agent will be able to assist.
• You must visit the location you signed up for, other locations will not be able to notarize your documents. Local notaries, such as banks or the post office are not allowed.
• If you are an international customers or will be shipping internationally, you will be required to notarize online, using proof.com.

Addresses vary by location and your personal mailbox number will most often appear on the same line as the street address. Some locations are suite addresses, the suite number will appear before your mailbox number. 

Note: It is important to use your full address, including your mailbox number to ensure your mail arrives to the correct location.

Upon signing up for your new virtual mailbox, you will automatically receive a unique mailbox number that is added to your new mailing address. It is is important to include this mailbox number when addressing mail and updating your contacts. This will ensure that the correct mail is received to the correct mailbox.

• The mailbox number is computer generated.
• You cannot choose your preferred mailbox number.
• Addresses vary by location. 
• Some locations are suite addresses.
• Your personal mailbox number will most often appear on the same line as the street address.

All mail and packages are received, stored and processed at the address you choose when you sign up.  All our locations are approved by the USPS as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA). Most locations are professional retail pack and ship stores or business coworking centers in professional office buildings. 

Note: After your account is fully approved, you must inform your senders of your new address and/or file a Temporary Change of Address form with your local post office. 

You can sign up for multiple address, simply use the "Add Location" button in your account to quickly add additional mailbox locations that you manage from the same account.

Note: You will be required to file a separate notarized Form 1583 for each mailbox at each location. If you notarize online, using proof,com, you will receive a discount beginning with the third notarization completed in the same session. Each notarized form 1583 and ID is automatically uploaded to the correct mail center for processing.

Pickups are a service provided with all of our virtual mailbox plans at all locations. Your mail center is a physical location that will receive all mail and packages. You can choose to pick up mail at your mail center address during business hours.  For the best service, we recommend scheduling a pickup before arriving to pick up mail, using the iPostal1 app. 

Pick up hours are different at each location. If you may have any questions on pick up hours, please contact your mail center directly.

Note: A small fee may be charged at the time of picking up. 

You can sign up for an address and pay month to month with no sign up contract or cancellation fees. Save money and choose a yearly plan, paying for 10 months and getting 2 months free. Billing is automatically renewed unless you cancel your plan from your digital Mailbox or contact iPostal1.

Note: Prepaid yearly plans are non-refundable after the first 30 days.

Your virtual address, can be used as a mailing address, when registering your business. We have had thousands of customers who have used our virtual mailbox service to register their businesses, at banks or for their DMV needs. The vast majority of states permit this, but the laws vary by state and change periodically, please check your local laws to determine what is permissible.

iPostal1 addresses are real physical street addresses at professionally staffed, secure, and full-service mail centers, which can receive mail and packages from any carrier, including UPS and FedEx.

• A PO Box, only accepts USPS deliveries. 
• You cannot use a PO box to register a business.
• You cannot manage your mail digitally with 24/7 access from anywhere.

You are able to ship your mail items to the address listed on your form 1583. When filling out Form 1583, be sure to include the shipping address where you plan to send your items. After setting up your digital mailbox, you can easily request shipments and choose your preferred carrier and service level.

You are able to request for your account to be transferred to another location of your choice. When you change your address, you will be required to provide an updated notarized USPS Form 1583, that includes your new locations information. 

Your Mail Center will begin to accept your mail or packages upon receiving, reviewing and approving your completed USPS required documentation. Prior to this time your mail and packages are subject to be returned to sender in accordance with USPS guidelines. 

Note: To avoid mail items being returned to sender, please be sure that your account is fully approved, before sending mail to your location. 

The USPS allows up to one business name per mailbox account. Each business name, LLC or DBA will be required a separate mailbox and a seperate notarized form 1583. You can add another mailbox at your primary account or you can choose to open a second mailbox at another address. 

You can switch from a personal mailbox to a business mailbox at anytime. Simply login to your account and upgrade to a business plan. You will be prompted to enter your business name and pay the difference. 

To upgrade to a business plan:

1. Log in to your iPostal1 account. 

2. Click on "Mailbox Settings" located in the left toolbar. 

3. Click the "Change Plan" button under general settings. 

4. Scroll down to see all your options and select the business plan that suits your needs. 

5. Review your plan and click "Place Order". Your primary credit card will be charged for the new subscription rate. You will be prompted to enter your business name.

Your mail centers contact information is only available after final approval of your account. iPostal1's contact information will always be viewable whether or not your required documents have been approved.

All contact informat can be found under "Support Center", located on left toolbar in your account. Click on "Contact Us" to view.

An account is allowed up to 6 recipients on a personal account including the primary recipient or up to 1 business name and 5 recipients on a business plan.

You can choose to add the additional recipient at the time of signing up or you choose to add the additional recipient at a later time, following the same process below. 

• To add your spouse at the same time as the primary recipient, use the Form Assistant in your digital mailbox to guide you through completing the form. After completing the steps, you’ll receive two separate Forms to notarize and submit, along with copies of two forms of ID for each individual.
• Minors can be added on the primary recipient’s form. Any additional recipients must submit a separate notarized Form 1583 and two forms of ID. The Form Assistant in your digital mailbox account will guide you through the process. 
• Adult children (age 18 and older)  must provide their own signed and notarized Form 1583 and 2 forms of ID. 

Note: 

• If you selected a business plan, you can add up to one business name and 5 recipients. 
• If your account is already approved or no longer see the form assistant, please contact customer support directly. 

To begin receiving mail at your mail center, your documents and accounts need to be fully approved. If your account is not yet approved, your mail items will be returned to sender as per USPS regulations. 

Your account will be ready for use, once your documents are reviewed and fully approved by your mail center. You will then have full access to all of the features included in your plan. Until your account is approved, any mail items that you receive will be returned to the sender in accordance with USPS regulations.

The Form 1583 should not be notarized or submitted to your local USPS post office. Your form 1583 must be signed and notarized using the online notary or  you can sign and provide your documents at your physical mail center address, if the service is available at your mail center. If you would like to sign your form 1583 at your mail center address, please call your mail center ahead of time to see if this service is available. 

Note: Once you complete the online notary, your form will be uploaded for review. 

You can conveniently ship your mail items internationally directly from your iPostal1 digital mailbox. If you are looking to forward your mail internationally, please notarize your documents online via Proof.com. For assistance with starting a notary session on Proof.com, please contact our customer support team for assistance.

Note: 

• International shipping for letters is available at all iPostal locations. 
• International shipping for packages may vary at each location. Please contact your mail center to see if internationally shipping is available at your address. 

If you need to re submit a picture of your lease or any other documents, please contact customer support directly for assistance. 

You can choose to login to any platform you choose. Many customers prefer managing their mail from the convenience of their mobile device. However, you can only make changes to your account and credit card information when signed in to the computer. 

Note: It is required to login to your computer when initially setting up the account to submit the USPS form 1583.

To login to your account from a computer or mobile browser: 

Step 1. Visit www.ipostal1.com, click Login at the top right, click Customer.

Step 2. Enter your Username or Email address.

Step 3. Enter your Password and Click on the Login button.

To login using the iPostal1 app: 

Step 1. Open the iPostal1 app on your smartphone or tablet and the login page will appear. 

Step 2. Enter your Username or email address.

Step 3. Enter your Password.

Note: Use the same login credentials as you would from a computer.

If you forget your password, you can reset your password on the login screen. A link to reset will be sent to the email on file. 

Step 1. Go to the iPostal1 login screen on your computer or mobile device.

Step 2. Click "Forgot Password" on the login screen.

Step 3. Enter your Username/Email address and then "Click" the "Submit" Button. 

Step 4. You will receive an email with a link that will allow you to enter a new password.

Note: If you are having trouble resetting your password, please contact iPostal1 Customer Support.

Step 1. Click on the drop down arrow, located at the top right corner of your inbox, next to your username. 

Step 2. Click on "Account Settings". 

Step 3. Click on the the "Pencil" edit icon in the password box.

Step 5. Enter your current password followed by your new password (two times) and click the

"Reset Password" button.

If you would like to change your email address, username, or phone number, please contact iPostal1 customer support directly and an agent will be happy to assist.

Please follow the steps below to log out of your iPostal1 account:

Step 1. Click on the drop down arrow next to your username.

Step 2. Click the last option "Log out". Once clicked, you will be immediately logged out of your account.

To view all accounts at once, please login to you your iPostal1 account and follow the steps below.

Step 1. Click on "Select Locations" in the left toolbar.

Step 2. Your locations will be displayed. Scroll down and select one by clicking on the location you wish to open.

*Accounts with more than 15 locations have a search bar menu option instead of a drop-down menu.

You can easily view all accounts when signed into the iPostal1 app or when signed in on the desktop.

To view all accounts on the App:

Step 1. Login to your iPostal1 App using your username and password. 

Step 2. Choose which account to view by tapping on the "Change Location" button on the top right of the main menu. 

If you have an additional recipient added to your account and would like the additional recipient to receive notifications, an additional email address can be added to your account. 

Note: This will only allow you to add an additional email for notifications only. If you are looking to change or edit your email address, please contact customer support.

To add an additional email for notifications:

1. Login to your account using a desktop or mobile browser.

2. Click on Mailbox Settings, located on the left toolbar.

3. Locate "Notifications" section on the right.

4. Enter a new email address.

There is one primary credit card on file that is billed for all accounts and all transactions. You can view your payment method in your account settings, located at the top right of your, after clicking the dropdown next to your username.

Note: Your payment is due for each account on the day that you sign up. 

To merge 2 accounts or combine 2 accounts under one Username: 

Step 1. Click on "Mailbox Settings" on the left toolbar.

Step 2. Click on the underlined link "Click Here", located next to "Account Settings" on the top of the page.

Step 3. Click on "Merge Accounts" in the "Account Features box" on the right side.

Step 4. Please enter the "Username" and "Password" of the other account that you would like to merge with this current account. Then, click on "Merge Accounts" below to merge the 2 accounts.

To view all approved recipients, please login to your account:

1. Click on "Mailbox Settings", located on the left toolbar.

2. Locate "General Settings", first box on your left.

3. Locate "Mailbox Address". 

You can now see all names associated with your account.

Only one login is allowed per account. In order for other recipients to login to the iPostal1 account, you must share your login credentials for the account.

The USPS only allows one business name per mailbox account. If you signed up for a business account you are allowed up to 1 business name. If you would like to receive mail for an additional business, you will be required to open a seperate account for each additional business name, including an LLC or DBA. 

To comply with USPS regulations, you must file a new 1583 form for each mailbox location you open. A discount is available when using the online notary service for multiple locations.

Mail and packaged are not automatically forwarded to your new mailing address. Your virtual mailing address will only be available to the contacts and senders that you update. 

If you would like all mail to be forwarded to your new mailing address, you will need to fill out a separate USPS form. Once your account is fully approved by your mail center, we recommend visiting your local post office to fill out the form.

Another option is to simply tell your contacts directly that your address has changed. This is what most customers do that want most of their mail still coming to their home address, and want the iPostal1 address to be there for business use.

To ensure you receive mail to your new mailing address, after your account is fully approved:

1. Inform your senders and contacts of your new address. 

2. File a Temporary Change of Address form with your local post office.

Note:

• USPS will forward all First Class mail to your new address for 6 months at no charge and can be renewed for another 6 months. 
• We do not recommend filing a Permanent Change of Address form with the USPS.
• If you file a Permanent Change of Address Form, the USPS will not forward mail from your iPostal1 mailing address to a new address later on. 
• Any permanent address change can't be reverted if you would ever need to move your mail from iPostal1 to another place. 

  
  

Many customers have used our virtual mail address to register their businesses, at a bank or for the Department of Motor Vehicles/DMV. The vast majority of states permit the use of virtual mailing address, but the laws may vary by state and can change periodically. Please check the local laws to determine what's permissible.

You will be able to request for your account to be transferred to another mail center location. Please note when you change your address, you we will need to provide an updated notarized USPS Form 1583.

If you have filed a "Temporary Change of Address form" with your post office, you can easily cancel the temporary address change and file a new one. 

To correct or modify a change of address order, you can use the "USPS Form 3546".

If you have filed a Permanent Change of Address form, you will need to inform your senders individually that your address has changed.

Note: If no forwarding option is filed, any new mail that is received at your mail center will be returned to sender. 

You can find your address in your welcome email. You will receive a street address and a mailbox number. It is important to list your full mailbox number to ensure your mail arrives to your inbox.

• Go to your Inbox and click on "Select Locations" to see how to write all your addresses.

Your mail can still come to your house. Many customers use the iPostal1 address as an additional address. If you do not fill out a Change of Address form with USPS, your mail coming to your home will not be affected.

Some mail center address locations are registered agents. This is not a service provided directly by iPostal1. Please contact your location directly for more information on registered agent service and for additional pricing information. 

You can view if your address provides registered agent service when looking up your address on iPostal1.com:

• Click on "Locations" located at the top toolbar. 
• Select your location.
• Click on "More Details". 

If you need a proof of address document, we suggest using your iPostal1 invoice.

To find that invoice: 

1. Log in to your account, click the dropdown menu next to your username in the Top Menu Bar. 

2. Click "Transactions", locate your invoice and click "View Details" on the far-right side of your screen. (You may need to filter the date range to view all transactions) 

3. The receipt will open with the option to print as proof of address. 

When you select a virtual office plan, you will be prompted to choose a local or toll-free phone number after you log in to your personal Digital Mailbox. You can have incoming calls to this number forwarded to any phone number. Your forwarding number can easily be changed. 

You'll have an option to customize how many times the phone will ring before being forwarded to your voicemail. You can set your own voice message or type in the wording for a professional automated message. You'll receive a notification when a voicemail is received. You can easily listen to your voice messages from the iPostal1 app or your iPostal1 online mailbox. 

When choosing a virtual office plan, you will receive a mailing address for your business, along with all the features of our Digital Mailbox service. What makes our Virtual Office plans different, is that you also get a phone line with call forwarding and voicemail capabilities, so you can have a business number linked to your mailing address and avoid using your personal phone for business.

If you sign up for our Virtual Office plan, you receive:

• Virtual mailing address.
• Phone forwarding.
• Voice mail messaging with personal greeting.
• A dedicated electronic fax placed into your digital mailbox as a PDF.

*Phone forwarding at iPostal1 addresses outside the U.S s available on a limited basis.

A phone and fax line are provided when you sign up for a Virtual Office plan. These numbers can be set up directly from your digital mailbox in a matter of minutes.

• If you have a Virtual Office plan, you can choose your phone number and add additional phone and fax lines by clicking "Phone and Fax Settings" in the sidebar.
• If you do not have a Virtual Office plan, you can change your plan by clicking mailbox settings in the sidebar, and selecting "Change Plan" under General Settings.

Your Virtual Office Phone line can take incoming calls and messages only and cannot be used to make outgoing phone calls.

Your selected plan level determines how much mail you can receive each month. This includes all types of mail items from letters to packages. 

Monthly Limit per Plan

Green Plan - 30 mail items per month

Blue Plan - 60 mail items per month

Silver Plan - 120 mail items per month

Gold Plan - 240 mail items per month

Note:  An additional fee of $.35 per mail item, will be applied for each additional mail item that exceeds your monthly plan limit. You can always upgrade your plan at any time, if needed.

You can receive a traditional fax, if the service is available at your mail center location. Your fax will display in your mailbox, just as a mail item. When sending a fax, your name and mailbox number should appear clearly on the fax cover sheet to ensure it is uploaded to mailbox correctly. 

You can find your locations fax number in the "Contact Us" page, when logged into your dashboard. 

Pricing to receive a fax: 

• $2.00 each fax, up to 6 pages.
• $0.25 each additional page.

You can receive large packages but if you plan on receiving mail larger than 100 lbs, it is helpful to contact your mail center location to make sure they will be able to accommodate a package of that size. 

To find your mail center contact information:

• Locate the left toolbar on your account.
• Click: "Support Center".
• Click: "Contact Us".

The United States Postal Service requires a notarized USPS form 1583 and 2 acceptable forms of identification for any person or additional name that will be receiving mail to your account. Please reach out for assistance with adding an additional recipient. Additional recipients are required to notarize the form 1583 via proof.com's video notary session. 

Note:

• Personal accounts are allowed up to 6 recipients in total, including the account holder.
• Business accounts are allowed up to 1 business name and 5 recipient names in total, including the account holder.

You may change your monthly plan at any time, effective the next billing period. However, you may not change from a yearly plan to a monthly plan until the yearly billing period ends.

• Monthly plans can be upgraded to any other plan, including a yearly plan.
  
• Yearly plans can be upgraded to another yearly plan that allows for more mail items per month.

The images of the outside of your mail items are viewable in your inbox and is included free of charge, up to the monthly limit of the plan that you choose. You may request a scan of the inside contents for any mail item for a small additional fee. Scanning bundles are available at discounted prices. 

For as low as $9.99 per month, you get all the benefits of viewing and managing your mail with an app from wherever you find yourself. This is a great value (more convenience and more features for a lot less than renting a PO Box). We keep your monthly cost low by charging for additional services only when you request them, this way you only pay for what you use.

The cost of forwarding is not included in any subscription plan. Each mail item that you request to ship, will be charged separately. The price is determined by the mail item type, weight/ dimensions, carrier and shipping speed. Prices are set by your mail center. 

iPostal1 shows real-time shipping prices for any shipment you make by carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS) and by level of service (overnight, 2-day, ground, etc.), and you choose the shipping that best meets your budget and timing needs. 

You can consolidate mail items into one package to save on shipping.

If you signed up for a virtual office plan, you can view your fax number in your 

A virtual phone and fax line is provided when you sign up for a Virtual Office plan. These numbers can be set up directly from your digital mailbox. You can choose your phone number and add additional phone and fax lines by clicking "Phone and Fax Settings" in the sidebar. 

Note: This feature will allow you to receive and review voicemails and will allow you to receive and review fax, all within your account inbox. Outgoing fax is not a supported feature at this time.

If you do not have a Virtual Office plan:

• You can choose to upgrade your plan by clicking mailbox settings in the sidebar, and selecting "Change Plan" under General Settings.

• You can receive a traditional fax, if the service is available at your mail center location. Your fax will display in your mailbox, just as a mail item. When sending a fax, your name and mailbox number should appear clearly on the fax cover sheet to ensure it is uploaded to mailbox correctly. 
• You can find your locations fax number in the "Contact Us" page, when logged into your dashboard. 

The Inbox tab can be found on the left toolbar and shows you all of your mail and the outside image(s) of each mail iem. 

Step 1. To sort your mail items in your inbox click the "Show" drop-down box to view Open Requests, Scanned Items, Letters & Large Envelopes, Packages & Letter Packs, or Stored Items.

Step 2. You can also sort your mail items by the date received. Click on the "Sort By" drop-down box to choose the earliest or the latest items received.

Step 3. To make a request for your mail to be processed, select your mail items and choose from the menu options in the top toolbar.

Mail is kept secure and confidential, when items arrive you will be notified via email or push notifications via our free iPostal1 App. We open your mail only if you specifically request us to scan the contents. We open packages only when you request us to take a picture of package content, or in order to ensure compliance with shipping regulations. 

Note: 

• You can choose the auto-scan feature in which all letters that are received to your account are automatically requested for a content scan. 
• This additional feature is only for letters and does not include boxes and packages. 

Anyone handling mail in your account is required to submit a notarized Form 1583 and Two forms of ID. Please contact customer support for assistance with adding an additional person to your account for pick up. We recommend informing your mail center of an alternate person collecting your mail and confirming their guidelines for this arrangement. 

While some customers have successfully registered with companies like Google and D&B, we cannot guarantee that all our addresses will comply with their address requirements for these companies. We suggest reviewing Google’s requirements for participating in their Google My Business program. 

Note: Not all iPostal1 locations accept the Google My Business program pin. 

You are welcomed to sign up and if you choose to cancel your account within 30 days of signing up, we can process a refund request, as long as your account has not been used to receive mail or for any other reasons.

Many of our mail center locations upload mail once per day and may wait until a certain time of day to upload all mail items. If you received a delivery confirmation that your mail item was delivered from the carrier, your mail center may not have had the opportunity to upload items for the day. 

To avoid delays in receiving mail items: 

• Your account must be fully active.
• All mail should include your full name or business name and full address including your mailbox number. 

Note: If you received a delivery notification from the carrier, we recommend contacting your mail center directly to see if they can expedite uploading the item to your account. 

Most mail center locations will carefully sort out and recycle or discard all junk mail, such as flyers, circulars, advertising, and catalogs that are classified by the USPS as Standard Mail. When junk mail is discarded, it does not count toward your items per month received.

If you receive any unsolicited junk mail that is uploaded to your account, you may choose to discard it at no additional charge. You can choose to subscribe to our App based service to stop junk mail at an additional fee of $9.99 for 3 months. 

Note: To find more information or to sign up for iStopMail, login to your account and locate iStopMail on the left toolbar.

Shipments are sent based on the carrier and timeline that you choose and your destination address. Many mail centers offer all levels of shipping services from USPS, FedEx and UPS. You will only receive a tracking number, if you select a trackable shipping method. You tracking number will usually include a delivery date. For more information on the status of your shipping or consolidate and ship, please contact your location directly. 

Note: 

• Tracking is not included for USPS standard/single letters and USPS First Class Mail. 
• If you are shipping time sensitive or important mail, we recommend choosing a trackable shipping method.

USPS mail is delivered to our locations daily but if you are waiting for mail that hasn't arrived, please contact the sender, to confirm that your mail was shipped to the correct address. 

A tracking number is provided for your shipment, depending on which carrier and service you select. 

To locate a tracking number: 

• Log in to your account.
• Click on your Username dropdown arrow, located on the top right of your account.
• Click "Transactions" to view your invoices. 
• Locate the invoice,
• Click "View Detail", the tracking number will be located at the bottom of the details page. 

Note: Tracking numbers are generated for any mail item shipped via USPS Priority or above. If you have selected a lower service such as USPS First Class or below, you will not receive a tracking number. 

All tasks are processed by your mail center, which is physically located at the address you signed up with. The turnaround time for  all requests can typically take 24-48 hours to complete, depending on when the task was requested and your mail centers business days/ hours. 

For faster task completion, we suggest contacting your mail center directly. Your mail center contact information can be found on the Left hand menu toolbar of your account, under "Support Center", "Contact Us". 

Each account location receives the mail items that arrives at that designated address. Mail is handled by your mail center location directly. If you have a specific questions about your mail or packages, your mail center operator will be able to provide you more information on this. Please contact your mail center directly. 

You can find the store contact information by first clicking on "Support Center" on the left side of your screen to expand the menu of options.

Click on "Contact Us". On the Contact Us page, you can find your mail center Contact Information (Phone Number, Email...).

The "Consolidate and Ship" option is a one-step request that allows your mail center to consolidate all mail items into one package and ship it to the destination you specify, using your preferred shipping option. 

This feature saves time and money; you do not have to create a separate shipment request for each individual mail item.

Please see the USPS Do Not Ship List for domestic shipment and export restrictions from and within the U.S.

• Hazardous materials that may not be shipped include perfume, alcohol, hair spray, spray paint, and any other flammable or pressurized items.
• All packages exported from the U.S. must comply with the iPostal1 Export Policy.

You can consolidate letters and/or packages into one mail item before forwarding to save on shipping.

The consolidated package will appear in your digital mailbox as a new mail item and you will see real-time shipping quotes for each carrier, speed and level of service available.

Note: There is a small charge for package consolidation and packaging materials.

A mail item is anything that arrives in your iPostal1 mailbox: any letter, package, or large envelope is one mail item.

All iPostal1 addresses are approved by the USPS as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA). All your mail is kept secure and confidential, your mail center will only open your mail when you specifically request a scan, box image or a shipping task. 

Your mail center will open your mail:

• If you request a scan, your mail center will open the letter and scan the inside contents.
• If you request a box image, your mail center will open your package and take images of the inside contents.
• If you request to ship a package, your mail center may open your package in order to ensure compliance with shipping regulations.

If you have received a mail item that is not addressed to you, it may have been inserted into your mailbox in error. Please contact your mail center directly to have the mail item removed.

To ensure all mail is accounted and to avoid storage fees, we recommend scheduling a pick up before picking up your mail items. When pickup up your mail at your mail center, you will be asked for ID and will be asked to sign for your mail items. 

• If you have mail in your inbox that you have already picked up, please contact your mail center so that your pick up request can be processed. 

To ensure you start receiving mail to your mail center address, your account and documents must be fully approved by your mail center location. If your account is not yet approved, mail items will be returned to the sender according to USPS regulations. 

If you have already received a delivery confirmation from the carrier but don't see the mail in your account, it could be due to a delay in uploading the mail items by your mail center. Mail centers insert mail once per day, please allow time for your mail center to upload your mail. 

Please be sure to provide your contacts the correct address, including your mailbox number. If your mailbox number is not included, your mail may be returned to sender.

Your subscription payment is automatically billed using the primary credit card on file. You are billed each month or year, on the same day you signed up and depending on the plan you selected. 

To view and change the card on file:  

• Click on the drop down located on the top right, next to your username. 
• Click on "Account Settings".
• click  "Payment Method".

To view your payment renewal date:

• Click on "Mailbox Setting" located on the left toolbar.
• Locate your payment renewal date under "General Settings".

If you owe a balance, you will notice an alert with the total amount due, when logged in to your online account. You can simply update your payment method and pay your outstanding balance by following the prompts on your screen.

Step 1. Click "Update Payment Method" to update your payment method.

Step 2. Click "Continue to Payment" to make a payment.

Step 3. You will see your current payment method, click "Pay Outstanding Balance" to pay.

Our system will automatically process your credit card in real-time. 

• If you have attempted to you enter your credit card details and it is not being accepted by the system please enter a different credit card. 

• If your payment is being denied or declined, please contact your bank or financial institution. 

• You can choose to use Paypal as your payment method.

We require an active credit card to be listed on your account in order for your current month's invoice to be paid. We will charge you on the first of each calendar month based on your number of customers, shipping labels used, and a software usage fee. Any applicable taxes will also be included in that amount. Without a credit card, your location will not be activated for use.

To change your payment method from PayPal to credit card or credit card to PayPal:

Step 1. Click on the drop down arrow, located at the top right, next to your username. Click "Account Settings".

Step 2. Click "Payment Method", located on the right side of your screen, under "Account Features".

Step 3. Select your desired payment type (Credit Card or PayPal) and follow the steps to add the updated information.

Yearly plans renew only once a year. When you subscribe annually, you’ll pay for ten months and receive two months free. This discount is included in the total price you pay. 

Example: 

• Yearly Green Plan 30 = $99 per year. 
• Monthly Green Plan 30 starts at $9.99 per month = $119.88 per year.

Note: Our $99 annual subscription plan saves you two months on subscription fees.

Your monthly plan varies by the plan and location you selected. All plans includes a specific amount of mail items to receive per month. You will notice separate prices for business plans, if you included a business name to your account.

To view a history of payments made, you will need to login to your mailbox on a desktop computer or on a mobile browser. 

Step 1. Log in to your digital mailbox on a web browser.

Step 2. Click on "Transactions", located in the drop down next to your username on the top right.

Step 3. Click "View Details" to view past payments. You can download or print.

Roughly 90% of our locations are Standard addresses with monthly subscription plans starting at $9.99/month. However, addresses in prestigious buildings or in locations where costs and demand are higher, may cost more according to the address type.

Since digital mailboxes are not self-service like physical mailboxes, some mail centers charge a nominal fee for processing and retrieving your mail when you come in to pick it up. Pick up fees are charged, depending on the mail item type.

You can view your locations pick up fees on iPostal1.com, under "Locations". Select your location and click on "More Details".

Paying with PayPal is a convenient and secure way to make payments for your online mailbox. Your Paypal information will be requested during checkout. 

When paying with PayPal, you will be required to maintain a minimum balance above $20.00 on your account. When the account drops below the minimum of $20.00, you are automatically charged to maintain a balance for the account minimum. This ensures that your subscription and account will remain active.  

Note:

• You will be prompted to agree to the Paypal Terms of Agreement before signing up.
• Your first payment will include the subscription fee and $25 toward your Paypal balance. 
• Any unused PayPal funds is refundable, if you choose to close your account in the future.
• Recharge options: $20, $25, $50 and $100.
  

Your Paypal Account requires a minimum $20 balance. When your account falls below $20, your account will renew for $20. 

The Paypal Terms of Agreement before sign up requires all customers to agree to the minimum balance requirement. 

You will usually receive a notification with a link to add funds to your PayPal account, if your mail center is completing a task for your mail items and your account balance is not enough to cover the cost of the task. Your task will be processed after you have updated your payment method. 

If you choose to cancel your iPostal1 Mailbox account, the remainder of the Paypal balance will be returned to your Paypal account with 5-7 business days.

If you are shipping multiple items of various sizes together, we recommend you use the Consolidate feature, which will provide you a quote before shipping your mail items.

Check deposit is a great feature that can be used to conveniently deposit checks from your iPostal1 Mailbox directly to your bank account via mail. Each check that you would like deposited will need to be scanned first, before you can proceed to request a check deposit task. 

Note: The cost for each check deposit request is $4.95, plus the cost of trackable USPS Shipping (on average $11-15)

• You may deposit up to 5 checks per check deposit request. 
• This service is limited to Mail Centers in the United States.

Discarding of mail item is usually free of charge, if you would like to shred the mail item instead, a fee is charged for each shredding request.

• The fee for a single scan or shred request is $2.25 per letter, up to 10 pages, and an additional $0.25 per additional page. 

To save money on the cost of scanning the inside contents of your mail or shredding your mail, you can purchase a bundle. Scan and shred bundles can be purchased directly through your account and are more economical. With these prepaid bundles, you can use them as needed.

Note: Bundles are non-refundable but can be applied to multiple addresses on merged accounts, and they do not expire.

You can request the image of a package to view the inside contents or to view the invoice. Your mail center will open your package and take pictures of the inside contents and invoice. Each request includes up to 6 images of 1 mail item.

You can recieve a traditional fax at your mail center, if your mail center provides this service. Once the fax is received it will it will be viewable within your account just as a regular mail item.

When sending a fax, your name and mailbox number should appear clearly on the fax cover sheet to ensure it is uploaded to mailbox correctly. 

You can find your locations fax number in the "Contact Us" page, when logged into your dashboard.

Pricing to receive a fax: 

• $2.00 each fax, up to 6 pages.
• $0.25 each additional page.

If you receive additional mail items outside of your plan limit per month, you will be charged a small fee for each extra mail item that is received.

Your Virtual Office Phone and Fax plan are a great addition to your business. You will receive an email alert when a new voice message or fax arrives. Simply take a photo of your unwanted mail and click “Unsubscribe” to remove yourself from one of our partner’s marketing lists. In just 24 hours, you’ll receive a notification confirming you have been successfully unsubscribed. The app is always available to monitor the progress of your requests. 

Our close collaboration with source companies allows us to assist with unsubscribing you from catalogs, magazines, credit card offers, and more.

Note: This service is only for physical mail and not email. For more information on your i Stop Mail plan, please contact customer support.

This feature allows you to notarize any document, aside from your iPostal1 form 1583. You will have access to an online notary and have your documents notarized under 15 minutes.

Note: This service cannot be used during the signup up process, to notarized your iPostal1 documents for account approval.

Personal Delivery allows you to schedule the delivery of your mail items directly to your home. You can pick a date and time that works for you and a driver will deliver your mail.

The cost varies based on the time of day that you are requesting delivery.

The U.S. Department of Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) requires many American businesses to file a "Beneficial Ownership Information" (BOI) Report. As part of a new suite of business-oriented features, iPostal1 has partnered with a third party agency to offer a special rate for BOI filing assistance. 

It has no bearing on your mail center nor does it require any action on your part. You should consult with your legal and financial advisors to determine if the mandate applies to your business before deciding if they want to take advantage of this optional add-on service.

If you are attempting to submit your business compliance forms or should you require further assistance with the BOI form, please contact the BOI using the chat icon on the bottom right corner of the BOI page in your dashboard. This will connect you to the third party vendor.

Note: Business Compliance forms are not required for an iPostal1 account approval. 

Storage fees are charged after the initial free storage period for a mail item has expired, each

mail item has their own expiration date. To avoid storage fees, it is important to select an action

for your mail items such as discard, shred, shipping or pickup. If no action is taken and the free

storage period has expired, a storage fee is charged based on the mail item type.

Note: The larger the mail item, the less amount of storage time is given, as it is taking up more space

at your mail center location.

Free storage period:

●  Letters, large Envelopes, Magazines and Postcards: 30 FREE days.

●  Small package: 10 FREE days.

●  Large packages: 5 FREE days.

Storage Fees:

● Letters, Large Envelopes, Magazines, Postcards: $1.10 per mail item (every 30 days)

● Packages 12"x12"x12"and under or equivalent: $1.10 per pound* (every 30 days)

● Packages 12"x12"x12" to 24"x17"x12" or equivalent: $1.10 per pound* (every 10 days)

● Packages 24"x17"x12" and above or equivalent: $1.10 per pound* (every 5 days)

*Greater of actual weight or dimensional weight.

To prevent unnecessary storage fees, please schedule a pickup in advance of picking up your mail. 

If the mail items were not updated when you picked up your mail, and it is still showing in your inbox, your account will continue to generate storage fees.

If you would like to request a retroactive storage refund, please contact us directly. 

Note: All storage refunds need to be approved by your mail center.

An email notification is sent to you 3 days in advance, before the mail item expires, notifying you that a storage fee will be incurred soon, if no action is taken for the mail items. This allows you time to take action on your mail items by: Shipping, Picking up, Discarding or Shredding.  

Expiration date:

You can view the expiration date for each mail item, when signed in to your account. The

expiration date is located towards the center of the page and to the right of the mail item image.

You receive 30 days free storage for all letters, magazines, letter packs. Packages are given 5 - 10 days, depending on the size. Once your expiration date is expired, you will begin to be charged storage. 

• Packages that exceed 1,728 cubic inches (equivalent to 12" x 12" x 12") are given 10 days free storage.
• Packages that exceed 4,895 cubic inches (equivalent to 24" x 17" x 12") are given 5 days free storage.

Letters and flat mail are charged $1.10/item per month.

Packages are charged $1.10/pound* per every 5, 10, or 30 days - According to the size and storage time frame allotted to the package. 

*Greater of actual weight or dimensional weight. 

Note: 

• To avoid storage charges, recycle, shred, forward, or pick up mail items within your free storage period. 
• Once free storage period has exceeded, all storage fees will be applied automatically. You do not have to do anything extra in your account. 

If you qualify and would like to request a refund, please contact customer support directly and an agent will be happy to assist you. All refunds must be approved before processing.

• Subscription: If your account has been cancelled within the first 30 days and has been unused, you are eligible to request a refund.
• Other Refunds: Storage, Shipping and other service refunds will need to be approved by your mail center location before we can proceed with processing the refund.

Unfortunately, Scan/Shred bundle purchases are non-refundable. However, these credits do not expire and can be used across merged accounts.

Phone and Fax credits are non-refundable, however, during your initial sign up, iPostal1 provides a  $10 in Phone/Fax credits to start out with after you sign up for your virtual plan.

If you have an annual subscription and cancel your account prior to your renewal, you can reach out to iPostal1 customer support directly to request a prorated refund of the remaining months of your subscription. 

If you qualify for a refund for your subscription fees and you have already requested a refund with a customer support agent, it will generally take 3-5 business days to process. 

All other refunds including storage or shipping refunds, will need to be approved first by your mail center, before processing and can take longer at times.

You can pick up your mail in person at your mail center address by requesting a Schedule Pick Up from inside your inbox. Scheduling a pick-up will ensure that your mail will be updated when you arrive which prevents unnecessary storage charges.

To Schedule a Pick Up:

Step 1. Select the mail item(s) from inside your inbox and click on the "Schedule Pickup" button from the Top Toolbar.
  

Step 2. Select an available pickup date by clicking on the calendar date, then you can proceed to choose a time for your scheduled pick-up.

Step 3. To finish, scroll down and click the "Schedule" button to complete your request.

Note:  Your mail center will receive an alert that you are coming in to pick up your mail on the date and time selected. When you arrive, you will be asked to sign for your mail items and you will be charged the pickup fee. 

Creating a shipping request can easily send or forward your mail to your home address. After you have submitted your shipping request, your mail center will receive an alert to process. Once the request is completed, you will receive an email confirmation with the order details and tracking number, if you selected a trackable shipping method. 

How to create a shipping request in your account:

Step 1. Login to the iPostal1 website. Select the item you would like to ship and click on the "Ship" button on the top toolbar. 

• The "Ship" option is only available for one item. 
• If you are shipping multiple items, you can choose "Consolidate & Ship", and all of the mail will become one item with new a weight and dimensions.
• Please allow 24 - 48 hrs for all request to be processed. For shipping request status, please contact your mail center directly.
• If you are shipping packages internationally, please ensure that you have completed the online notary session during sign up. 
• If you receive an error or may need assistance with completing an online notary, after the initial sign up process, please contact customer support. 

Step 2. Select a Shipping Address where you would like to have your mail to shipped to. If the address is displayed in the center dropdown, Click the "Continue" button located at the bottom right of the page.

• You can add a new address by clicking on "+Add a New Address". Fill in the required information and click on "Add Shipping Address" when finished. 

Step 3. Fill in the required information and enter any special instructions at the bottom of the page (if applicable) and click "Continue" when finished.

Step 4. Select your shipping method. The mail will be sent out with the carrier of your choice. Click "Continue" when finished.

Step 5. Verify that all your information is correct, and click "Ship" when finished. 

Note: All shipping labels are generated at your mail center, private or personal labels are not allowed for shipping.

Save time and request a "Consolidate and Ship" for all of your mail items at once. Your mail center will combine the selected mail items together and ship according to your selected options.

• When consolidating and shipping in one step, a price quote is not provided.
• If you would like to view a price for shipping, please request a "Consolidation" first. 
• If you are shipping internationally, please ensure that you have completed the online notary session.

Step 1. Login to your account and select all of the mail items you would like to ship together, and choose the "Consolidate & Ship" button on the top toolbar.

Step 2. Select a shipping address from the drop down menu. You can also click the "Add a New address" button, if needed.

Step 3. Select Optional Services or enter Special Instructions, if needed. 

Step 4. Choose your shipping method and click the "Continue" button. 

The mail item will be shipped with the carrier that you select. The price will depend on the carrier, the shipping speed, the weight and dimensions of the combined letters or package.

Step 5. Please verify that all your information is correct and click the "Ship" button.

Step 6. Your Mail Center will get an alert to process your request click "OK" to close the window. 

Please allow 24 - 48 hrs for your request to be processed by your mail center. 

You will receive an email confirmation when your mail has been shipped. 

A tracking number will be included in your confirmation order, only if you have chosen a trackable shipping method.

To receive a shipping quote for shipping multiple mail items together, you can request a consolidation of mail. Your mail center location will combine all the selected mail items into one package. You will receive an alert when it is completed, so you can log in and choose your desired shipping option with the correct pricing.

• If you are shipping packages internationally, please ensure that you have notarized your documents using the online notary. 

How to Consolidate multiple mail items:

Step 1. Login to your account and select two or more mail items, then click on the Consolidate Button in the top toolbar.  

Step 2. Enter special instructions for your mail center in the text box. Then click the "Consolidate" button. The cost for consolidation is $1.95 per package, letters and postcards are free to consolidate.

Step 3. To finish, Click "Ok" to submit your request. Your mail center will receive an alert to process your request and send you an email confirmation when completed.

Note: The new consolidated mail item ID will begin with the letter "C".

After your consolidation is complete, you can log into your account and request a shipment for your consolidated mail item. You will then see a quoted price for shipping.

We understand that you may receive items in your inbox that you don't need. You can choose to discard mail items  is free of charge. Your mail center will dispose of the unwanted mail items you include in your request and the mail item will be deleted from your inbox. 

• If your mail item are important, we recommend you choose the mail Shredding option instead.

Step 1. To discard mail, start by selecting the mail item(s) you wish to discard from your inbox. Then, click on the "Discard" button in the top toolbar.

Step 2. Click Continue to submit your request.

Step 3. To finish, click "Ok" to complete the process.

Your Mail Center will get an alert to process your request and you will receive an email confirmation when it is completed. For discard request status, please contact your mail center directly.

Note: Discarding mail is a request to take the mail and place it in the regular trash or recycling. Once mail is discarded the image is deleted from our system.

You can request a scan to view the inside contents of your letter. When selecting to scan, your mail center will open the envelope and scan the images. After the task is completed, the images will be in your inbox for you to view. 

• The charge for a scan of the inside contents is $2.25 for the first 10 pages of each letter and $.25 each additional page.
• Scan/Shred bundles are available for purchase at a discount in the top right corner of your screen.
• Front or back of Credit Cards and Gift Cards cannot be scanned.

Step 1. To scan the inside contents of your mail, please login to your account and select the mail item(s) that you would like to be scanned and click on the "Scan" button in the toolbar above. 

Step 2. Choose an option for what you want to do with the mail after the scan has been completed. 

• Scan and Put Back in My Mailbox: Original mail will be saved until you choose to Ship, Pickup, Shred or Discard.
• Scan and Discard: Scan will be saved in your inbox, and original mail will be discarded.
• Scan and Shred: Scan will be saved in your inbox, and original mail will be shredded. Please note that shredding cannot be reversed once it is completed and a small fee is added for the shredding request.

 Step 3. Scroll down and click on "Scan" to submit your request.

• The status of your mail item will be updated to "Scan Requested" in your inbox immediately after you submit your request. 

• If you have already requested a Scan, please allow 24 - 48hrs for your mail center to process. If you need an update on the status of your request, please contact your mail center directly.
  
• When your order has been fulfilled, the status will read "Scanned".
• Your completed scan will be viewable as a PDF in your inbox. You can download your PDF, or forward it as an attachment. 
• If your scanned images are not visible, missing a page or you may have an issue with the quality of the scan, please contact support.  
• Please be sure to save any scans. The scanned images are deleted from our system once you select an action, such as: discard, ship, pick up, shred etc. You will no longer be able to view these in your inbox. 

You can choose to shred a mail item and your mail center will open the letter and shred the inside contents of the letter. The fee to shred is $2.25 per letter. This includes up to 10 pages and $.25 for each additional page. Discounted Scan/Shred Bundles can be purchased by clicking on the underlined link above your top toolbar. 

Step 1. To shred mail, please select the mail item(s) you wish to shred from your inbox and then click the "Shred" button located in the top toolbar.

Step 2. Click "Continue". 

Step 3. To finish, Click on "Ok" to submit your request. 

Your Mail Center will receive an alert to process your request, and you will receive an email confirmation when it is completed. Please allow 24 - 48 hrs for all tasks to be processed.

Note: Once mail is shredded, it is no longer available to view. To check the status of your Shred request please contact your mail center. If you need to cancel a shredding request, please contact your mail center immediately.

You can choose to deposit a check to conveniently from your iPostal1 Mailbox directly to your bank account. Checks are shipped to your bank via USPS and will include a tracking number. Each check that you would like deposited will need to be scanned, before you can proceed to request a check deposit task. 

Note: The cost for each check deposit request is $4.95, plus the cost of trackable USPS Shipping (on average $11-15)

• You may deposit up to 5 checks per check deposit request. 
• This service is limited to Mail Centers in the United States.
• If the check has not been scanned, the option to scan will not be available to choose. 

Step 1. 

Before you can request a check deposit, please request a scan of the check.

After the check is scanned, click on the check that you would like to deposit.  

Click on "Check Deposit" button from the top toolbar.

Step 2. Select your bank account information. You can add your bank account information in your "Account Settings", located at the top toolbar by clicking the drop down next to your username.

Step 3. Choose your preferred shipping method. All Checks will be mailed via a USPS trackable service. You can expect to be charged a shipping fee plus a charge for check processing.

Step 4. Enter the required check details below including: 

Bank name on check

To check the status of your Check Deposit request, please contact your mail center directly.

You can request to take an image of the inside contents of a package by requesting a Box Images for your package. Your mail center will open your package and take a picture of the inside contents and/or Invoices.

Step 1. To request a picture of the inside contents of your package, please select the package from your Inbox and then click on the "Box Images" button on the above toolbar.

Step 2. Select whether you want an image of the box contents only ($3.95), an image of the enclosed invoice only ($2.95), or an image of both the contents and the invoice ($5.95). Include any special instructions in the text box provided and then click on "Request Images" below.

Step 3. Your request has now been sent to your mail center for processing. Click "Ok" to complete the process and return to your inbox.

To check the status of your request, please contact your mail center directly.

If you would like to make a change or cancel your shipping, scan, discard, shred or pickup request, you can do so only if the request has not already been processed by your mail center. When logged in to your account, you will see the request highlighted in a blue box and the status of your request will be located towards the right.  

Note: 

• If you would like to make a change to a request, please cancel the request first and submit a new request.
• If your request is processing or no longer showing, please contact your mail center directly.

To change or cancel a mail request: 

Step1. Please click the "Open Requests" Button to view all your requests.

Step 2. Click "Cancel Request" on each item you wish to cancel.

Step 3. Click "Yes" or "No" to continue.

4. Click "OK" to close the window.

Note: If you do not see a status, please contact your mail center directly, as they may have already began processing.

Personal Delivery allows you to schedule the delivery of your mail items directly to your home. You can pick a date and time that works for you and a driver will deliver your mail. 

Note: 

• This option is available for letters, large envelopes, letter packs and packages under 50lb.
• Personal deliveries can be scheduled up to 3 days in advance in 3 hour time slots.
• The cost varies based on the time of day that you are requesting the delivery. The quote is only valid for 15 minutes as traffic and demand fluctuate.

To schedule a Personal Delivery:

1. Login to your account, select the mail items to be delivered, click on "Personal Delivery".

2. Confirm your delivery address.

3. Select your preferred date and time, click: "Continue".

4. Enter the value of your mail items, confirm your contact information, select a signature option, add an optional tip and add special instructions. 

5. Review the details, click the terms of service checkbox, and click "Submit Order".

To get a shipping quote for a single package:

Step 1. Login to your account, select the desired mail item you would like to ship and click on "Ship".

Step 2. Select a shipping address for your package and click "Continue".

Step 3. Select your desired optional services and include any special instructions in the text box provided. Then click "Continue".

Step 4. Choose your shipping method from the table of options below. 

Note: An estimated transit time and an estimate cost is provided for each carrier and shipping service listed. Other fees may apply based and are based on your mail center and the mail item being shipped. To check the status of your Consolidation request, please contact your mail center directly. 

Each mail item in your inbox displays its own expiration date under the storage column located towards the right of the picture and sender information. You will receive an email notifications three days before the expiration date expires. 

Note: To avoid storage fees, please make sure to submit a request for your mail items before the storage date expires. 

To Mark a mail item as "Read":

Select an item of mail from your inbox and click on "Mark as read" located above the list of mail items in your inbox.

To Mark a mail item as "Unread": 

Select an item of mail from your inbox and click on "Mark as unread" located above the list of mail items in your inbox.

Your Scan/Shred bundle balance can be found in the top right corner of your account, located next to your username.

Note: You can add to your Scan/Shred balance by clicking on "Buy Bundles". Scan/Shred bundles are non-refundable.

You can view the history of your mail items such as the mail item number, the date the item was received, the date of the last action completed for the item, the status, who the item is from, and the contents.

To view the history of your mail items:

Login to your account and click on "Activity Reports" located on the left hand side of your account. 

Note: Select a custom date range by using the date filter, located on the top right.

To transfer to a different iPostal1 mail center location, please contact iPostal1 customer support directly for assistance. 

• You will be required to empty your Inbox by discarding, shredding, shipping, or picking up any remaining mail items. We cannot transfer you until your Inbox is empty. 
  
• You will be required to submit a new, notarized Form 1583, which includes your new locations information, once you have been transferred.

You can sign up for multiple locations directly from your account.

Step 1. To add an additional iPostal1 Mailbox location at another mail center, please click on the "Add New Location" button, located in the left toolbar. 

 Step 2. Select your State location.  

Step 3. Choose the City of your new store location.

Step 4. Select the address that is right for you by clicking the "Choose" button.

• Each location offers the following plan options: Virtual Mailing Address, Virtual Business Address, and Virtual Office.

Step 5. Choose the virtual mailing address that's right for you. Plan pricing will be displayed at the bottom of your screen.

Step 6. Choose the plan that's right for you.

Step 7. To finish, click on the "Add Location" button. Your new mailbox will be purchased with the primary credit card on file.

Step 8. Go to your mailbox to receive an email confirmation to fill out the new USPS form 1583.

Step 9. Click Start to begin the 1583 process. 

• To view your locations, click the "Select Locations" button on the left oolbar.

You will receive alerts via push notification to your phone or email whenever a new mail item has been received.

Note: If you receive a notification but do not see your mail items, please attempt to update your iPostal1 App or login to the desktop to view. You can also attempt to delete the App and reinstall in your mobile device.

Mail is managed by each individual location, if you have specific questions about your mail or packages, please contact your mail center directly. 

How to locate your mail centers contact information:

Step 1.  Click on "Support Center" on the left toolbar to expand the menu of options.

Step 2. Click on "Contact Us". 

• On the "Contact Us" page, you can find your mail center phone number, email, address and hours.

The "Notarize Documents" feature allows you access to an online notary for your notarization needs. 

Note: This feature cannot be used to notarize your form 1583 or any additional recipient's form 1583 form on your iPostal1 account. Please use the link provided in your account to notarize your form 1583.

The Create & Send feature allows you to create letters or postcards and send them to a single or multiple recipients. They can be sent to any valid address of your choice via a third party sender. This feature can be accessed in your account on the left side toolbar. 

• To begin, click on "Create and Send" and follow the prompts. 

You can conveniently organize your mail items in your inbox by moving your mail items into folders. The folders are easily accessible and will be located on your left toolbar, just below Inbox.

To move a mail item into a new folder:

Step1. Start by selecting an item from your inbox. Then click on "Move to Folder" located above the list of mail items in your inbox.

Step 2. Click on the dropdown menu to view your list of available folders.

Step 3. Select your desired folder and then click the "Move" Button.

Step 4. The selected mail item has now been successfully moved to its new folder. You can navigate between folders by clicking on the folder name (i.e Inbox or Priority) as they appear on the Left Toolbar.

You can view your Primary iPostal1 Address displayed on the left side navigation bar. If you have multiple account addresses, you can view all of your account addresses under "Mailbox Settings" on the the left toolbar. 

• It is important to include your mailbox number to ensure your mail arrives to the correct address.

Step 1. Click on "Mailbox Settings" on the the left toolbar. 

Step 2. Scroll down to view your account addresses. 

You can easily upgrade or downgrade your plan directly in your account. When upgrading, you will be prompted to pay the difference of the plan selected, if applicable. If you are downgrading a plan and believe you qualify for a refund, please contact support. All refunds must be requested and approved before they can be processed.

Step 1. Login to your iPostal1 account. Click the "Mailbox Settings" located in the left toolbar.

Step 2. Click the "Change Plan" button located under general settings.

Step 3. Scroll down to see all your options and click on the plan that's right for you.

Step 4. Review your plan and click "Place Order". Your primary credit card on file will be charged the updated rate for your new subscription.

An automatic email notification is sent when mail is received at your mail center address. You can activate this setting and choose the frequency that notifications are sent directly in your inbox. 

• Notifications can be sent upon insertion, daily, weekly, every two weeks or monthly.

Step 1. To receive mail item notifications via email, click on "Mailbox Settings" on the left side toolbar.

Step 2. Scroll down to the "Notifications" box. Toggle the On/Off slider to "On" and select your desired notification frequency from the dropdown menu below.

The Auto-scan feature will automatically scan all mail items received in your Inbox upon arrival. The charge for scanning the inside contents of mail will apply when this feature is enabled. Each mail item will be charged based on the pages scanned. 

• Please see our Scanning Prices and Bundles for more information.

To turn the Autoscan feature On or Off:

Step 1. Click on "Mailbox Settings" located in the left toolbar.

Step 2. Scroll down the bottom of the "Notifications" box.

Step 3. To turn on: click the toggle from "Off" to "On". To turn off:  toggle from "On"  to "Off". 

Step 4. Autoscan is now enabled/ disabled. Click "Ok" to complete the process.

The Autoship feature allows you to set the frequency with which all your mail items are automatically shipped to your shipping address on record. Once a mail item is received at your mail center, it will be shipped according to your selection. Each shipment will be charged based on the shipping rates at your location. 

To enable the Autoship feature: 

Step 1. Click on "Mailbox Settings" located in the left toolbar.

Note: The default setting is "No Autoship".

Step 2. Choose an Autoship frequency by clicking on the dropdown menu located under "Autoship Options" and make your selection (Weekly/Every Two Weeks/Monthly).

Step 3. Click on "Ok".

Step 4. Scroll down to the "Autoship Options" box and click on the dropdown menus below to select your desired International/Domestic Carrier settings.

Note: You will need to make a selection for both International and Domestic, even if you are only shipping domestic.

Step 5. Please select the day of the week you would like your items shipped and whether or not you would like to be notified each time a shipment is prepared.

To save money on the cost of scanning the inside contents of your mail, you can choose to buy a scanning bundle. You can purchase these bundles of 5, 10, or 20 requests directly from your iPostal1 app or online mailbox with just a tap or a click. 

• Scan and shred requests are per envelope and includes up to 10 pages. If you exceed 10 pages, you will charged for a second request.
• There is no time limit to use the scan and shred bundle.
• Any balance of unused scans or shreds are non-refundable.

To purchase a scan and shred bundle:

Step 1. Click on "Mailbox Settings" in the left toolbar, then click on the "Buy bundles" button, located on the bottom of the "Notifications" box.

Step 2. Select your desired bundle and click "Continue".

Step 3. Select your payment option and click "Buy Bundles".

Please follow the steps below to add your bank account information for Check Deposit. 

To add a new Bank Account: 

Step 1. Login to your account and click on the drop down arrow menu next to your username, located at the top right corner of the screen.

Step 2. Click on "Account Settings".

Step 3. Click on "Add Bank" in the Check Deposit Setup box.

Step 4. Please Select a Bank from the drop down selection.

Step 5. Enter the required information and click "Add Bank Account".

Note: We do not accept bank accounts as payments for the monthly subscription.

Your subscription plan will automatically renew either monthly or yearly based on the plan you selected and the date you signed up. 

To find the date of when your plan is set to auto renew:

Click on "Mailbox Settings"  and locate "Subscription Renews On", just under the "General Settings" box.

The "On Hold" feature allows approved accounts to place their mailbox on hold for a duration of three, six, or twelve months for a one-time fee. 

• This feature applies to customers who have been active for three or more months and have yet to come off a hold within the last three months. 
• You will retain the mailbox number and address throughout the hold period without needing to notarize a new Form 1583 to reopen the account.

Note: Please be sure to empty your Inbox by discarding, shipping, or scheduling a Pick Up for your mail items, and pay any outstanding balance; otherwise, the hold feature will not be available. 

To place an account On Hold: 

Step 1. Log in to your account and click  "Mailbox Settings" in the left hand toolbar.

Step 2. Click "Cancel Mailbox". 

Step 3. Choose from the three options of 3 Months, 6 Months, or 12 Months by clicking the "Select" button. 

Step 4. Choose your payment method and click "Confirm". 

You can renew or reactivate an old account by logging in and paying any outstanding balance for months passed. If the account is too old to reactivate, you will be prompted to enter your payment information and add an active mailbox.

Note: If your account no longer has login access or you do not see these options, please contact customer support and we will do our best to assist you. 

To forward your mail via USPS after canceling your account, please file a Corrections Form 3546 with USPS. Since iPostal1 addresses are Commercial Mail Receiving Agencies (CMRA) locations, a regular change of address cannot be filed.

You can update your primary address or add shipping addresses directly in your account.

To edit or add a shipping address:

Step 1. Login to your account.

Step 2. Click the dropdown arrow located next to your username at the upper right corner of your  account.  

Step 3. Click "Account Settings" and click on "Shipping Addresses"  .

If your account is already approved and you need to change your account details such as your name, business name, additional recipients name, email address or phone number please contact customer support directly and we will be happy to assist.

Note: 

• The USPS requires all business accounts to have a personal name, as the account holder. If you have selected a business plan, your personal name cannot be replaced with a  business name. 
• If you have entered the incorrect name at signup, you can edit your name by clicking on the yellow banner across the top of your account.

If your account is already approved and you do not have the yellow box across the top of your screen and you would like to add an additional recipient, including a spouse or child, please contact customer support directly and we will be happy to assist. 

Note:

• Personal accounts are allowed up to 6 recipients in total, including the account holder.
• Business accounts are allowed up to 1 business name and 5 recipient names in total, including the account holder.

You can cancel your account at any time by logging into your account on a mobile browser or desktop. Before canceling your mailbox, please empty your inbox by discarding, shipping, or shredding your mail items. Please ensure you have made copies of all uploaded documents, as they will be deleted when your account is canceled.

• If you would like to re-activate your account, your mailbox number will be saved for 90 days. 
• Once your account is closed, mail will no longer be accepted at your location. Please remember to update your contacts with your new mailing address. 
• If the cancel button is not working, please verify that you have cleared all of the mail items in your inbox and are up to date with your payment. 

To cancel your account in a desktop browser:

Step 1. Click on "Mailbox Settings", located in the left toolbar.

Step 2. Scroll down to the bottom of the Mailbox Setting box and click the "Cancel Mailbox" button.

Note: If you don't see this option, please take action on your mail items by selecting a discard, shipping or shred. After your mailbox is empty, come back to this page, and the Cancel Mailbox button will be active. 

Step 3. To finalize the cancellation of your iPostal1 Digital Mailbox, click "Ok". You will then receive an email confirmation that your account has been canceled. You will no longer be charged for your subscription. 

You can view all of your mail items and manage your mail conveniently on your mobile device. Please download the iPostal1 App from your devices Apple App store or Google Play store. 

To view your mail in the iPostal1 App: 

Step 1. Log on to your iPostal1 Account using your username and password.

Step 2. Scroll through your mail items in your Inbox to view the image of each mail item and the date the item was received.

Step 3. Tap on the item for more details or tap on the green icon to make a request for that item. 

You can view prices for additional services before making a request for your mail items directly in the iPostal1 App.

To view prices in the iPostal1 App:

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Tap on the Menu icon, located on the top left corner. 

Step 3. You will see a menu of options, tap on "Pricing" to view prices for optional services.

Step 4. Here you can view all available services and pricing options for your mail items. 

The Task Toolbar is located in your account when logged in to the App. Here you will find the options that enables you to make requests for your mail items such as: Ship, Scan, Consolidate, Schedule Pick Up, Cancel Requests, and Discard. 

To access your Task Toolbar: 

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App.

Step 2. Tap on the green icon on the left of your selected mail item. 

Or tap on the Mail Item and tap on the Task Toolbar in the upper right corner.

Step 3. Here you will view all of the options available for your mail items.

Once your scan request is processed by your mail center, you will be able to view the scanned documents in the iPostal1 App.

To view the scan in the App:

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Tap on your Scanned Mail item. 

Step 3. Tap on the Scanned image to view. 

• You can download and save the images to your device. 

Adding folders to your Inbox is a great way to keep your mail items organized. You can simply create personalized folders for your mail items directly from the App.

To Add folders in the iPostal1 Mobile App: 

 Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Tap on the drop down arrow located in the center top toolbar, next to "Inbox". 

Step 3. Tap on " +Add Folders". 

Step 4. Enter the name of your new folder and tap on "Add", located at the bottom right.

Step 5. Tap on the "Inbox" dropdown to view your new folder.

• You can now move any mail items into this folders by clicking on the mail item from your inbox, click on the "Menu" icon at the top right, click on "Move to".

Before picking up mail at your mail center address, we recommend you schedule a pickup. You can pick up mail during business hours listed at your location. Once your pickup is scheduled, your mail center will receive an alert that you are coming in to pick up your mail. 

• A small fee may be charged for picking up letters and/or packages, depending on your mail center.

Note: When you arrive to pick up mail, you will be asked for ID, you will be asked to sign for your mail items and you will be charged the pick-up fee.

To schedule a pickup on the Ipostal1 App:

Step 1. Log into your account in the Ipostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Select the mail items(s) that you wish to pick up by tapping on the icon, located to the left of the mail item number. Then tap "Schedule Pick Up", located in the menu on the right.

Step 3. Choose an available date and time that you wish to pick up.

Step 4. Tap on "Send request" to complete your order. 

If you cannot view new mail in your inbox and are experiencing technical difficulties with the app, please ensure your app is updated to the latest version. 

• If no updates are available, we recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as this often resolves common technical issues.

Shipping your mail is simple via the iPostal1 App. To begin, login to the iPostal1 App using your username and password.

• Shipping one single mail item: you can select the mail item, and click on "Ship".
• Shipping more than one item: you will need to consolidate the mail first, in order for shipping options to show. 
• Shipping multiple mail items together in one step: you can login to your account using a desktop browser and choose: "Consolidate and Ship".

How to create a shipping request in the iPostal1 App:

Step 1. Select the mail item that you wish to ship by tapping on the green icon to left of your mail item number. A menu will appear immediately on the right side of your screen. Then tap "Ship".

or you can also click on the image of the mail item to view the menu icon, at the top right.

Step 2. Select the address where you wish to ship the mail item(s) and and tap "Next".

Step 4. Enter any special Instructions and tap "Next".

Step 5. Choose your preferred shipping method and tap "Next".

Step 6. Verify that your information is accurate and tab "Send Request" to complete your order. 

• Your mail center will automatically receive your request and will ship your mail soon.

• The status in your Inbox will be updated to "Ship Requested". 

• After your request has been processed, the item will be removed from your inbox. You can confirm that the request was completed by checking your mail history. 

You can request a scan of the inside contents of your mail items and view the images, conveniently from the iPostal1 App.

• Credit Cards and Gift Cards cannot be scanned.

To scan a mail item in your iPostal1 App:

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Select the Items(s) of mail that you wish to scan by tapping on the green icon, located to the left of the mail item number. Then tap "Scan" in the Inbox Menu.

or you can tap on the mail item itself and then tap on the taskbar menu, located in the top right corner. 

Step 3. Select a scan option and tap "Send Request", located at the bottom right corner.

Step 4. The status of your mail item will now read "Scan Requested". After your mail center has processed your order, the status will be updated to "Scanned". 

• After your mail center has processed your order, the status will be updated to "Scanned".

• To View the scanned item, tap on the mail item in your inbox and then tap on the image. 

You can choose to consolidate several mail items at once. After your consolidate request has been processed, your mail items will be combined into one package and you will then be able to view a shipping quote. 

To consolidate your mail items in the iPostal1 App:

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Select the Items of mail that you wish to consolidate by tapping on the green icon to the left of the shipping number. Then tab on "Consolidate" in the Inbox Menu.

Step 3. Confirm your order by tapping "Send Request".

Step 4. The status for the mail items will change to "Consolidate Requested". 

• After your mail center has processed your order, the status will be updated to "Consolidated".  

• Both mail items will now appear together in one new package. The mail item number will begin with the letter C.

If you choose to pick up your mail at your mail center location, scheduling a pick up is recommended. Scheduling a pick up from your iPostal1 App is simple. 

• You may be charged a small fee when you pickup the mail at your mail center.

To schedule a pickup in the iPostal1 App:

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Select the Items(s) of mail you would like to pick up by tapping on the green icons to the left of the mail item number. Then tap "Schedule Pick Up" in the Inbox Menu. 

Step 3. Choose an available date and time. 

Step 4. Tap Send request to complete your order. 

If you need to edit a shipping, scan, discard or shred request for any reason, you can cancel the request conveniently from the iPostal1 App. If the request is already in process, please contact your mail center directly.

To change or stop a mail request in the iPostal1 Mobile App: 

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and email. 

Step 2. Select the Items(s) of mail and tap on the green icon on the left side of your screen.

Step 3. Tap "Cancel Request".

or you can tap on the mail item itself and then tap on the taskbar menu, located on the top right corner. 

Discarding unwanted mail is simple using the iPostal1 App. Once you have requested a discard, your mail item(s) will be disposed of in the regular trashed or recycled. 

• Consider selecting a shred for important mail items. 

To discard a mail item in the iPostal1 Mobile App:

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Select the Items(s) of mail that you wish to discard and then tap on the green icon on the left side of your screen.

Step 3. Tap "Discard".

or you can tap on the mail item itself and then tap on the taskbar menu in the top right corner. 

• Your mail center will receive the notification and the mail item(s) will be immediately removed from your inbox.

If you would like to view the images of the inside contents of a package, you can choose a box image request for your mail. Your mail center will open your package and take pictures of the inside of your package. 

• The cost of this service is $3.95. 

To request a picture of the insides of your package in the iPostal1 App: 

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and email. 

Step 2. Select the designated package and press the green icon on left side of your screen. 

Step 3. Tap "Box Images". 

or you can tap on the mail item itself and then tap on the taskbar menu, located in the top right corner.

Step 4. Select one: "Box Images" only, "Invoice" images only, or both "Images and Invoices". Tap "Send Request".

• Your mail center will receive an alert to process your request. Once the request is completed, you will be able to view the images from inside of your iPostal1 App.

We recommend selecting a shred for any important mail items. Requesting a shred is simple in the iPostal1 App.  

• The price to shred mail items is $2.25 per letter and includes up to 10 pages. 
• Discounted Scan/Shred Bundles are available for purchase inside your inbox.  

To shred a mail item in the iPostal1 Mobile App:

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Select the mail item(s) that you wish to shred and the tap on the green icon on the left side of the mail item.

Step 3. Tap "Shred".

or you can tap on the mail item itself and then tap on the taskbar menu, located in the top right corner.

• Your mail center will receive an alert to process your request.
• The status below your mail item will be updated to "Shred Requested". 

You will receive an email confirmation when your mail has been shredded and the mail item will be removed from your inbox.

You can add a new iPostal1 address to receive mail conveniently from your mobile device. You can choose your plan and your account will automatically be charged for the new monthly subscription. 

• A new form 1583 and 2 acceptable IDs must be submitted for each individual address you sign up for. 

To add another Virtual Mailbox account in the App: 

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Tap on the "Menu" icon, located in the top left corner.

Step 3. Tap on "Add Location".

Step 4. Choose a State and choose a City. 

Step 5. Select the designated store address you wish to add.

Step 6. Select the type of mailbox and plan you wish to subscribe to and tap "Confirm" to create the new mailbox address for your account.

The Auto-Scan feature will automatically scan all mail items inside of your inbox upon arrival. The charge for scanning the inside contents of mail will apply when this feature is enabled.

To turn on Auto-Scan on the iPostal1 App:

Step 1. Log on to your iPostal1 App using your username and password.

Step 2. Tap on the "Menu" icon, located in the top left corner.

Step 3. Tap on "Account Settings".

Step 4. Tap on "Mailbox Configuration".

Step 5. Tap on the Auto-Scan Documents to toggle On. 

Step 6. Tap "Done" at the bottom right.

The Auto ship feature will automatically ship any mail you receive based on frequency you select. You are charged per shipment, based on the mail item dimensions, the carrier and speed you choose and the shipping rates set at your mail center location. 

To set up automatic shipping in the iPostal1 App:

Step 1. Log on to your iPostal1 App using your username and password.

Step 2. Tap on the "Menu" icon, located in the top left corner.

Step 3. Tap on "Account Settings".

Step 4. Tap on "Mailbox Configuration".

Step 5. Select your shipping frequency  based on the options provided: upon requests, weekly, every two weeks or monthly.

• If you select "Upon Request",  autoship will not be activated. You will  be required to login each time you would like to create a shipment. 

Step 6. Choose your preferred "Domestic Shipping Level".

Step 7. Tap "Done".

*You can log back into your account to change your shipping settings at any time.

You can view your full current mailing address conveniently in the iPostal1 App.

To view your address in the App:

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Tap on the Menu button in the top left corner.

Step 3. Tap on "Account Settings".

Step 4. Tap on "My Address" to view.

You can conveniently add and update your contacts, from the iPostal1 App.

To add new contacts in the iPostal1 App: 

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App.

Step 2. Tap on the "Menu" icon in the top left corner.

Step 3. Tap on "Contacts".

Step 4. Tap "Add New Contacts" located on the bottom left of your screen.

Step 5. Fill out the contact information and tap "Done", located on the bottom right of your screen when you are finished.

Updating your credit card information is easy in the iPostal1 App. Follow the steps below to update your credit card information.

To update or edit your credit card information in the iPostal1 App: 

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App.

Step 2. Tap on the "Menu" button, located in the top left corner.

Step 3. Tap on "Account Settings". 

4. Tap on "Update Credit Cards".

Our check deposit by mail feature is easy to use and you can add your bank account information directly from the iPostal1 App. 

To add a new Bank Account for Check Deposit in the iPostal1 App:

Step 1. Log into your account in the iPostal1 App, using your username and password.

Step 2. Tap on the "Menu" icon, located in the top left corner. 

Step 3. Tap on "Account Settings".

Step 4. Tap on "Banks".

Step 5. Tap on  "Add New Bank Account" on the bottom left corner.

Step 6. Fill in the required information and tap "Done" in the bottom right corner when you are finished. 

The iPostal1 App comes in 5 languages. If you would like to view or change your language options, please follow the steps below.
